Culmination Activity 05/04/12

Yesterday was the culminating activity of the Band and Theater Workshop participants. COCOSA organized the show and although it was very exhausting (since we only had two days to prepare), we had so much fun. I attempted to take good photos, but was unsuccessful because my camera was a crappy one. I did a little filming though, but I’m still not in the mood to edit it. I know it’s not going to be good and I’m just going to end up making it in black and white, but I’ll have to do it anyways for our website. And speaking of that, if you go to my school, check the official website here.
But yeah, here are the band-related photos I took and edited (sigh).

I thought John was going to play On Top Of The World, but Five Minutes To Midnight started and I was just fan-girling.
(wink wink to my good friend)

Justin: Hey, Ariene. Let me take your picture with Angel.
Me: Aww thanks Justin. Angel, let me borrow your bass.
Justin: Okay, smile!
Me: What the **** is this?
Justin: It’s a nice picture.
Me: There’s a reason why I borrowed the bass guitar, Justin.
After the program we hang out at the faculty’s lounge and we ate lunch at McDonald’s with Sir EJ. I had (free) McFloat and Sundae, thank you Sir EJ. And then me, Christian, Alson, Jose, Claire, Micah, and Angelie went to SM. Well I wanted to go to Robinson’s but I didn’t have a choice welp. I thought about watching The Lucky One, but there were complications with the schedule so I left. I was on the North Wing and saw this massage chair and I decided to sit on it and try its ~*magic*~. It will only work with coins so I had to buy over-priced Oil Cola Bottles from the candy station (70 pesos per 100 grams. Very over-priced). And yeah the rest of my dad was just lame.
I’m leaving tomorrow. Half of me is excited. Half is not. I will miss the last episode of the Vampire Diaries Season 3 god do you know how that makes me so sad. I just want to be there during the season finale I’ve never missed a season finale. I need to have a decent internet connection in Manila so I can watch it on Youtube (hopefully) or try my luck with streams or something. Ahhhh.

St. Joseph School – La Salle is a Catholic, co-educational, general secondary school duly recognized by the Department of Education, Culture and Sports and accredited by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU). As one of the 1200 La Salle Schools in 85 countries, St. Joseph School – La Salle is specially established for the purpose of serving the children of the working class in Barangay Villamonte and its surrounding barangays in Bacolod City. Animated by the Lasallian charism of service to the poor, religion, mores, cultura and commitment to excellent education among the youth, St. Joseph School – La Salle dedicates itself to: 1. The formation of a dynamic Christian community composed of students, faculty, staff, parents, alumni, La Salle Brothers and Sisters; 2. The total development of the students by: a. Promoting equality of educational opportunities to the youth regardless of socio-econimic status, religion, sex and academic background while upholding its Catholic identity. b. Providing excellent education that will prepare students for college work; 3. The contribution to the achievement of national development goals by moulding God-loving, dedicated, disciplined, reliable, creative, productive and nationalistic youth; 4. Support community-related and Church sponsored cultural, educational, sport and religious activities by active participation and by making its resources available to interest groups. By committing itself to these goals, St. Joseph School – La Salle hopes to give witness to St. John Baptist De la Salle’s vision of Christian education among members of the more deprived sectors of the Philippine society.
